Do not believe that he who seeks to comfort you lives untroubled among the simple and quiet words that sometimes do you good. His life has much difficulty and sadness and remains far behind yours. Were it otherwise he would never have been able to find those words. —Rainer Maria Rilke
My name is Henry Madaga. I am a student training to be a doctor at the University of Nairobi, Kenya. This my little corner on the internet, where I allow you a peek into what's on my mind. Sometimes I say too much, most times too little, yet my hope is that everything here will bless you, inspire you, help you, and make you think seriously about those things you might not have had words for until you read it here. Please subscribe, it encourages and reminds me the labour is worth it.
Words, Wounds, and Wonder.
I enjoy reading well-written books, even when they are difficult to tackle at first, Words is meant to represent that literary side of me.
It might be a bit unnerving to reveal that I reflect a little too much on the not so glamorous and depressing aspects of life. My aim is to accurately portray pain, hurt, disappointment, and say the difficult things about life, but charitably and graciously. That's where Wounds come in.
Wonder is meant to give life to it all. It caters for the epiphanies, the inspirations, the joyful moments, when my soul flies.
